LATI

 

The Louisiana Assistive Technology Initiative (LATI) is a project funded by the Louisiana Department of Education to improve the access of students with disabilities to the regular education curriculum.  There are seven regional centers through out the state.

The mission of the Northeast Assistive Technology Center is to foster the development of general knowledge regarding assistive technology and to promote the use of assistive technology for students with disabilities, therefore increasing their access to the general curriculum, social and vocational experiences.Please contact the Center or a member of the staff for assistance.

Services

 

 

All services offered through the Northeast Assistive Technology Center are free and open to any educational staff, parent, or student.  Free services include training, consultation with students with disabilities, technical assistance, and loans of AT Tools for assessment purposes.  To request a service, please complete a request form located on our Services page.  

Training

 

 

Training is offered to anyone wanting to gain knowledge of Assistive Technology and the implementation of such with Students with Disabilities.  Please view our event calendar for all up coming trainings. Registration for all trainings is done through Coursewhere.
